Woodburn Lutheran School (WLS) is the joint ministry of Christ Lutheran Church
and Zion Lutheran Church of Woodburn, Indiana. With a current enrollment
of over 100 students, the school has served both congregations for many
wonderful years. A full-time, dedicated teaching staff provides learning
in a warm, Christian atmosphere. Students are taught all of the required
curriculum to prepare them for high school, in addition to daily Christian
studies. With the support of the excellent staff, from the principal to
the kitchen helpers, the teachers at Woodburn Lutheran consistently
nourish the lives of each and every student.
All teachers are fully accredited by the State of Indiana, and attend on-going seminars and conferences to maintain a high degree of educational excellence. Located at the intersection of State Road 101 and Woodburn Road, at the east end of Woodburn, the school recently added a gymnasium and classrooms, enabling a complete array of learning and physical education.
